YOPBC Spring Concert at Mizner Park Amphitheater

It is one amazing orchestral performance after another at Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton! After the Lynn University Philharmonia Free Concert tonight at 7:30 PM, the Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County {YOPBC} will hold its free Spring Concert next on May 6th, Sunday starting at 4:00 PM.

Sponsored by the City of Boca Raton, it will be "Hollywood at the Symphony" with the full YOPBC String, Symphony, and Philharmonic orchestras performing musical selections from movies.

Update, April 29th: It has been raining a lot lately so the Lynn University Philharmonia concert was cancelled last night. Hoping for good weather on Sunday for the YOPBC Spring Concert.

Coral Springs WorldFest 2012

The City of Coral Springs is proud to present the 6th Annual WorldFest on April 15th, Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Sportsplex {2575 Sportsplex Drive, Coral Springs}.

Bring the whole family to this outdoor festival of nations that will feature an array of food, activities and entertainment from around the world. There will be cooking demos, live music, arts and crafts, delicious food, petting zoo and more! Admission is FREE. Parking is $3.

Parkland Concert Series with UV - The U2 Tribute Show on April 14th

This month's free Parkland Monthly Concert Series will feature South Florida band "UV - The U2 Tribute Show" on April 14th, Saturday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Pine Trails Park Amphitheater at 10561 Trails End. Bring your family, blankets, lawn chairs and enjoy a rockin' U2 tribute concert under the stars!

The Monthly Concert Series is part of the ongoing family-friendly events organized by the City of Parkland; that also include Movies In The Park and Farmer's Market.
