Parkland Library Halloween Events for Kids 2012


Are your kids Parkland Library cardholders? Check out what the Parkland Library has in store for them for Halloween.

Halloween Spooktakular (Ages 3-7)
October 29, Monday at 4 p.m.

Celebrate Halloween with two Wacky Witches! Enjoy silly songs and spooky stories. Don't forget to come in costume!

Halloween Screams (Ages 8 and up)
October 30, Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.

Have a fun time creating a Halloween craft and hearing spooky stories. Come in costume!

Counting Crows Concert on November 1 | Boca Raton FL

How about a rock concert to kick off November?

Yes? Great! Because Counting Crows is coming to Boca Raton on November 1!

The rock band behind the hits "Mr. Jones" and "Accidentally in Love" will perform at Mizner Park Amphitheater located at 590 Plaza Real on November 1, Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Special guests will include Tender Mercies and Mean Creek.

Concert tickets are available for purchase at Ticketmaster.

Senior Health Fair on October 17 | Coral Springs FL

Seniors and their family members are invited to the City of Coral Springs Free Senior Health Fair on October 17, Wednesday, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Coral Springs Gymnasium at 2501 Coral Springs Drive.

The Health Fair will feature wellness advice, health screenings, raffles, giveaways and refreshments.

The Coral Springs Police Department will also be there to accept unwanted or expired prescription medications.

Boca Raton GreenMarket 2012/2013 Season Begins

Today is the first day of the Boca Raton GreenMarket 2012-2013 season!

The GreenMarket will be open every Saturday, 8 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Monument Piazza at the south end of Royal Palm Place in Downtown Boca Raton, until May next year.

Shop for fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, arts and crafts, and more. Bring friends and family to enjoy live music and delicious food. Special activities are also planned throughout the season.
