Bring chairs, blankets, picnic baskets and enjoy a family movie under the stars at Betti Stradling Park in Coral Springs on October 5, 2013, Saturday at 8 p.m. Hosted by the City of Coral Springs, the evening's featured film will be “Ice Age: Continental Drift” (Rated PG). Parking and admission are free. There will be food vendors at the park as well.

The City of Parkland is inviting its residents to the Kids’ Fishing Derby on September 21, 2013, Saturday, 8-10 a.m. at the Pine Trails Park fishing pier at 10555 Trails End.
