The City of Coral Springs Parks and Recreation Department presents this year's Halloween Haunted House on October 25-26, 2013, Friday-Saturday in the Gymnasium at 2501 Coral Springs Drive.

Event hours are 5-8 p.m. on October 25, Friday; and 2-7 p.m. on October 26, Saturday. Tickets are $5/child and $2/adult. Also, there will be bounce houses, slides, and candy for trick-or-treaters, as well as refreshments for purchase. For more info, please call 954-345-2200.

Coral Springs' 50th Anniversary Concert on Nov 2

Mark your calendar for the City of Coral Springs' big 50th Anniversary Concert scheduled on November 2, 2013, Saturday, 5-9 p.m. at the open field at the Sportsplex, with "Bruce in the USA: The World's #1 Tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band."

Tickets are available at Coral Springs City Hall, City Hall in the Mall or the Gymnasium, just present your photo ID. Please note that there's limit of 4 tickets per household (children ages 5 and under do not need tickets). Also, tickets might be offered to non-residents later this month so please visit CoralSprings50.org or call 954-344-1111 for updates!

Don't forget to bring chairs and blankets on November 2. No coolers or pets will be allowed at the concert. There will be food and beverage vendors on site. Parking will be $3 at the Sportsplex. Other parking areas will also be made available with signage.

Boca Raton's GreenMarket 2013-2014 Season Begins

The Boca Raton GreenMarket's 17th Season opened last Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Monument Piazza parking area at the south end of Royal Palm Place in Downtown Boca. The GreenMarket will open every Saturday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. until May 10, 2014 with locally-grown fresh fruits and vegetables as well as flowers, herbs, pastries, gourmet food, doggie treats and much more. Special events and giveaways are also planned throughout the season. Visitors can also enjoy live music from 10 a.m. till noon.
