Simply Soccer Camp in Coral Springs is accepting registrations for the Winter/Holiday 2014 sessions that will be held at Mullins Park located at 10000 NW 29th Street, Coral Springs, 33065. Coral Springs Holiday Parade 2014

The City of Coral Springs is proud to present the city's 2014 Holiday Parade on December 10, 2014, Wednesday, 7 p.m. along Sample Road! This year's theme is "Snow Much Fun!" with over 60 floats, bands, surprises and more.

The day will also feature a Coral Springs Holiday Mile where participants run a one-mile timed race starting at the corner of Coral Springs Drive and Sample Road. Interested participants can register in advance online at itzevents.com for $15. Race-day registration is $20. The Coral Springs Holiday Mile will begin at 6:15 p.m. (before the parade). Awards await race winners!

Motorists, please note that the following areas will be closed approximately from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for this holiday event:

Sugar Sand Park presents Shriek Week 2014! The popular Halloween event will be on October 17 (Fri), 18 (Sat), 23 (Thurs), 24 (Fri) and 25 (Sat) at Sugar Sand Park at 300 S. Military Trail. Simply Soccer Camp is the longest running soccer camp for children in the city. It is endorsed by the City of Coral Springs and the Coral Springs Soccer commission. The City of Parkland is inviting its residents to the popular Hayride and Bonfire event on March 14, 2014, Friday, 7-9 p.m. at the Equestrian Center at Temple Park at 8350 Ranch Road, Parkland, 33067.

This family-friendly event is free. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Parkland families can sign up now at the Parkland Amphitheater in Pine Trails Park at 10561 Trails End. Online registration is also available through WebTrac at www.cityofparkland.org.

Shred-a-Thon on January 18 | Coral Springs FL

Coral Springs residents can drop off personal paperwork to be shredded at the city's Shred-a-Thon event scheduled on January 18, 2014, Saturday, 9-11 a.m. (or until the truck is full) at the parking lot behind City Hall at 9551 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs, 33065. Up to three boxes per vehicle will be shredded for free.
