A special Memorial Day Concert will be held at Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton at 7 p.m. featuring the Indian River Pops, Robert Sharon Chorale, and the New Gardens Band. Admission is free. Simpy Soccer Summer Camp 2014 | Coral Springs FL

Register for this summer's Simply Soccer Camp for kids ages 5-14 in Coral Springs.

Simply Soccer Camp is the longest running soccer camp for children in the city. It is endorsed by the City of Coral Springs and the Coral Springs Soccer commission. The 2014 summer camp sessions are 5 days each at Mullins Park that will run from June until August. A full 5-day session that is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. is $145, extended hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. is $160, and the special Tiny Tots camp for 5- to 6-year-old kids from 9 a.m. until noon is $80 per session. Simply Soccer Camp is open to residents and non-residents.

Registration is at the Coral Springs Gymnasium located at 2501 Coral Springs Drive. The gymnasium is open 8 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. For questions, please call the city's Parks and Recreation Department at 954-345-2200.

TEDx in Boca Raton on May 9 2014

The first TEDx Boca Raton talks will be on May 9, 2014, Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at Florida Atlantic University's (FAU) University Theater at 777 Glades Road in Boca Raton.

This independently organized TED program (TEDx) brings together speakers with "ideas worth spreading" on a wide range of topics. The carefully prepared talks and demonstrations are aimed to trigger inspiration, ideas and encourage engagement from the audience.

A general admission ticket is $100 that already includes a seat, meals and beverage. A student-ticket for $30 includes all meals and beverage and a seat in the simulcast lounge.
