Coral Springs 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks Display 2014

The City of Coral Springs will hold its annual 4th of July Celebration on July 4, 2014, Friday, 6 p.m. at Mullins Park located at 10000 Ben Geiger Drive (N.W. 29th Street).

Bring the whole family and enjoy music, bounce houses and kids' activities. The grand fireworks display will start at 9 p.m. Admission is free. There will be food and beverage vendors as well.

Attendees can park at Coral Springs Gymnasium, Mullins Park and the Coral Springs Center for the Arts for $3. Please refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages, pets and personal fireworks. For questions, please contact the city's Parks and Recreation Department at 954-345-2200.

Red, White and Blue Celebration on June 28 | Parkland FL

The City of Parkland is inviting its residents to the Red, White and Blue Celebration this Saturday, June 28, 2014, 8 a.m.-12 noon at Terramar Park located at 6575 NW 75th Drive.

The annual Bike Parade will be at 9 a.m. Decorate your bikes in patriotic colors to join and get a chance to win prizes. This free event will also feature stilt walkers, bounce houses, DJ, food trucks, a bike safety course courtesy of Broward Sheriff's Office, fire trucks and more.

Friday Night Summer Tribute Series June 2014 | Boca Raton FL

The City of Boca Raton presents Friday Night Summer Tribute Series at Mizner Park Amphitheater (590 Plaza Real) in Downtown Boca. This June, featured performers include:

*The Long Run (Eagles tribute band) - June 20, 2014, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
*Crazy Fingers (Grateful Dead tribute band) - June 27, 2014, Friday, 7:30 p.m.

Family FunDay at Coral Springs Museum of Art on June 14

Did you know that there are a number of family-friendly activities at the Coral Springs Museum of Art?

Family FunDays is one of them. This activity gives kids ages 3 and up an opportunity to explore the museum and create fun art projects with a parent or guardian.

The City of Parkland is inviting its residents to Kids Fishing Derby at the fishing pier in Pine Trails Park, 10555 Trails End, 33076. Bring your poles, bait and bucket and get a chance to win prizes. This year's upcoming dates are:
