Everyone is invited to the dog-friendly event in Parkland, Florida - Smooch Your Pooch - on February 7, 2015, Saturday, 9-11 a.m. at Barkland Dog Park located at 9245 Ranch Road, Parkland, 33067. There will be doggie caricatures, pet adoptions as well as various pet-friendly items for sale.

Coral Springs Family Fun Day & Car Show on February 7 2015

The City of Coral Springs is inviting everyone to the Family Fun Day and Car Show on February 7, 2015, Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Downtown Coral Springs located at 9400 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs, 33065. Admission and parking are free!

Come and enjoy food trucks, a green market, Star Wars characters, School of Rock, bounce houses and a lot more.

If you are interested in entering your vehicle in the Car Show, registration is $15 in advance or $20 on event-day. Vendor spaces are also available for $40. For questions or to sign up, please call 954-345-2119.

Coral Springs Shed-a-Thon on January 24 2015

Coral Springs residents are invited to drop off any personal documents for shredding to prevent identity theft at the Shred-a-Thon event on January 24, 2015, Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (or until the truck is full). The Shred-a-Thon will be held at the back parking lot of City Hall at 9551 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs, 33065.

Please place your documents in boxes. There is a limit of three boxes per vehicle and additional boxes will be accepted for a donation of $5 to benefit the Coral Springs Police Explorer Post.
