Residents of Coral Springs are invited to the city's next free Shred-a-Thon event on May 16, 2015, Saturday, 9-11 a.m. (or until the truck is full) at the Sportsplex at 2575 Sportsplex Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33065.

• Open to Coral Springs residents only
• Event hours: 9-11 a.m. or until the truck is full
• Documents are shredded on-site by recordSHRED
• Limit is 3 copy-size boxes per vehicle
• Each additional box will be accepted for a $5 donation to the SafetyNet by LoJack program for seniors with Alzheimer’s
• In case of inclement weather, this event will be cancelled

Parkland Trim-N-Trees on April 25 2015

Come and celebrate Arbor Day with the City of Parkland! The city will hold Trim-N-Trees Event on April 25, 2015, Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Pine Trails Park (10555 Trails End, Parkland, FL 33076).

Admission is free. There will be food trucks, a garage sale, YMCA Healthy Kids Day activities, music and games. The city will also give away free trees to Parkland residents. For more info, please call Parkland's Parks and Recreation Office at 954-757-4105.

Coral Springs Soccer Summer Camp 2015

Register for Simply Soccer Summer Camp 2015! The longest-running soccer camp in the City of Coral Springs is now on its 27th year. Interested campers are invited to register for this summer's sessions at the Coral Springs Gymnasium at 2501 Coral Springs Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33065. The gymnasium is open Monday-Sunday, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

Simply Soccer is for kids ages 5-14 whether a beginner or not and is open to residents and non-residents. This summer camp will run from June 8, 2015 until August 21, 2015 at Mullins Park in Coral Springs.

Coral Springs FL Unplugged 2015

The City of Coral Springs presents Unplugged 2015 on April 18, 2015, Saturday, 7-11 p.m. at Downtown Coral Springs located at 9400 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs, FL 33065.

Come and enjoy this outdoor event featuring live music, food trucks, craft beer and wine, refreshment vendors and more. Admission and parking are free. Unplugged is exclusively for adults ages 21 and up.

Parkland FL: Summer Tennis Camp 2015

Are your kids tennis enthusiasts? The Chip-N-Rip Summer Tennis Camp returns to the Terramar Park Tennis Center under the direction of USPTA Professionals, Shawn Craig and Bill Foreman. This summer camp is for kids ages 5 to 15 years old. Campers will learn and practice the game in a fun environment with drills, games, techniques and strategies. Camp begins June 8, 2015 until August 14, 2015 and hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (early drop-off hours are also offered).
