Coral Springs Holiday Parade 2015

The City of Coral Springs is inviting everyone to the city's 2015 Holiday Parade on December 9, 2015, Wednesday, 7 p.m. with "Joining Forces for the Holidays."

The "Star Wars" and superheroes-themed holiday parade will run along Sample Road from Coral Springs Drive to City Hall. There will be decorated floats, marching bands and more.

For Motorists, the following roads will be closed between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. for the parade:

• Sample Road west of University Drive & east of NW 110th Avenue
• Coral Springs Drive north of NW 29th Street & south of NW 37th Street

Boca Raton Holiday Tree Lighting 2015

The City of Boca Raton is inviting everyone to this year's Holiday Tree Lightning Event! There will be rides, games, snow, stage show, carolers and food vendors too.

Coral Springs residents, drop off your personal documents for proper shredding at the city's next free Shred-a-Thon event.

• Open to Coral Springs residents only
• Event Hours: 9-11 a.m. or until the truck is full
• Where: Coral Springs Sportsplex at 2575 Sportsplex Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33065
• Free for up to 3 boxes per vehicle
• Each additional box will be accepted for a $5 donation to the “Coral Springs Police Shop with a Cop Program”
