Come and celebrate the Chinese New Year at Mizner Park Amphitheater at 590 Plaza Real in Boca Raton on February 16, Saturday at 6 p.m.!

The Chinese Association of Science, Education and Culture of South Florida (CASEC) and the City of Boca Raton are proud to present special performances from a leading Chinese Opera house - Anhui Huangmeixi Opera Theater. The program will also include dance performances and the traditional dragon dance.

This event is free! Food vendors will be at the venue. Parking garages are located on the south and north ends of Mizner Park.

Sand Turtles Volleyball Free Clinics | Coral Springs FL

Sand Turtles Volleyball will hold free clinics at Riverside Park located at 205 Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs on February 7, Thursday, 6:30-8 p.m. and February 9, Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-12 noon. This will be training for beginners and participants of all ages are welcome.

Free Family Concert with Across the Universe | Coral Springs FL

The City of Coral Springs is proud to present a Free Family Concert featuring Across the Universe - The Ultimate Beatles Tribute Band!

This will be on February 9, 2013, Saturday, 7 p.m. at Betti Stradling Park at 10301 Wiles Rd., Coral Springs. Bring blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy this free concert under the stars. Food vendors will be at the venue. You can bring coolers but no alcohol or glass containers, please. Pets are not allowed too. Have a great time!

Family Fun Day and Car Show | Coral Springs FL

Everyone's invited to the Family Fun Day and Car Show in Coral Springs on February 2, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sportsplex (across the Tennis Center). Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children/students.

The Car Show will feature cars from each decade from the past 50 years to celebrate the City's 50th Anniversary. If want to enter your car in the show, please call 954-345-2204. Pre-registration is $15/vehicle, or $20/vehicle on event-day.

There will be bounce houses, a DJ, food trucks, vendors and entertainment. The Sportsplex is located at 2575 Sportsplex Drive.

Register for Parkland’s Hayride and Bonfire Now

Parkland residents, the City of Parkland is bringing back the popular "Hayride and Bonfire" on February 8, 2013, Friday, 7-9 p.m. at the Equestrian Center at 8350 Ranch Road, Parkland.

This event is free! Spots are limited and pre-registration is required so register early.

You can register now with the City's Parks and Recreation Division at the Parkland Amphitheater at 10561 Trails End; it's open Monday - Friday,  8 a.m.- 5 p.m. For those who have a registered account, you can register via Parkland's WebTrac Online Registration service.

Enjoy a hayride, bonfire and s'mores with your family!
