Veterans Day Commemorations on November 11, 2013, Monday
The City of Parkland will open the new Veterans Park near the Parkland Library at 6620 University Drive at 9 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting event. It will be followed by the commemoration that will include speeches and flag-raising ceremony. For more details, please call 954-753-5040.
The City of Coral Springs will hold its annual ceremony at Veterans Park at 8601 Royal Palm Boulevard at 10:30 a.m. with speeches, a 21-gun salute, placing of a wreath and flag-raising ceremony. For more details, please call 954-345-2200.
